I worked on my game with Nicole and Tyra with the topic of le medicin. The outline of the game consisted of three cards. A player rolls the dice and moves the amount of spaces as it reads. The spaces on the board have different colors for each category that indicate which card you pick up. A player reads the card, and you are to do what it says.
For the making of this game, I was the leader with Tyra as the assistant leader. I had a huge contribution to the format, along with the design of the game. In the process of creating the game it was kind of a challenge. It’s hard to try to be creative, and make your game as best as possible with the little time we had. Personally, I wanted the game to be more original but we kept it simple so we could finish it on time. I learned how to plan everything out, and organize the work so that it will be completed on time. The playability is easy, but honestly I wouldn’t want to play it… it’s not much of an exciting game to play.
The Movie Sicko is a documentary about the difference of Health Care between France, Canada, The United Kingdom, and The United States of America. Different countries have different health care systems. In the United Kingdom; England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales, have their own systems. In these places general taxes help provide free healthcare when needed. Because of massive taxation, the government pays for citizen’s prescriptions and medical.
In France their healthcare system has its similarities. They are given big taxes in return for free healthcare for all needs possible. Since the French are very well known for their protesting and not being affraid to tell their leaders what they think is right or wrong, In France the government gives out huge taxation to let the French have free Health Care towards everything. The French can go to a pharmacy and recieve all of their prescriptions, and medication free of charge. They also have an S.O.S médicin
service which is an on call doctor, and emergancy system that allows people
who are sick, or in need of a doctor to receive house visits from doctors when
the offices are closed. All the money is reamboursed back to you so the service
is free.
In Canada, we are taxed by the government to help pay for minor health
problems. We have to pay for prescriptions, and other medications, unless your
job has health benefits. If you need to go to the hospital for emergancy
reasons, expenses are covered and you are not charged to an extense. But in
Canada it takes much longer for surgeries, and other serious opperations.
Although these Heathcare deals sound extroadinrilty fair, the United
States of America is another story.
In The States they are not forced to pay taxes so all medical care is not
covered and you have to pay for everything . Some American citicens are dumped
out on the street because they are un able to pay their hospital bills. Because
of having to pay for medical needs, it is much quicker for medical services.
Although, Americans have the choice to get health insurance. Health Insurance is
a program that helps pay for medical service costs. Even though Health insurance
may seem like a good idea considering it helps pay for the expensive costs for
your medical needs, the companies that run Health Insurance always find some way
to reject your service so they can make money. They don't go towards people with
diabetes or other health problems because they know that that client would use
it. The major health insurance companies try luiering in people they know
wouldnt use it and try to in every way possible to avoid your request. It is
pretty sad and rediculous. Trying to make money off people who are in serious
need. Forcing them into debt, not being able to keep their houses and making
them sell everyting they own just to servive. All because they cannot pay their
Hospital Bills. Isn't human nature better than that?
I don't have a problem with the way the American government runs their
health care system, if the health insurance companies were loyal and honest.
Health insurance is a great idea if it was going towards helping people instead
of making money. Though I believe that France's system is the best. I think that
not having to pay for your medical bills is fair because everybody has to go
through something in life. Nobody deserves to be pushed to the curb
because they are too sick and can't afford to be cured, they're suffering
enough as it is. I personally like how our system is in Canada, and i wouldn't
want it any other way.

J'ai bien aimé le film Le Conte de Monte Cristo. Le film était au sujet un homme qui est trahi est envoyé en prison du Chateau d'If. Il s'échappe apré treize ans et veut vengeance. Il est un film d’action-et d’aventures avec drame. Les actors du film sont: Jim Caviezel comme Edmond Dantes, Guy Pearce comme Fernand Mondego, et Dagmara Dominczyk comme Mercedès Iguanada. J’ai pensé que les scènes sont bien orienté est les acteurs sont trés bien. Il y avait beaucoup d’action. J’ai aimé les scènes qui avec combats à l'épée. Je donnerais le film 9 sur 10. Je recommande le film.
